DCO Athar Hussain Khan Sial has directed the health, education and all other concerned departments to make such fool-proof arrangements for administering polio vaccine drops to the children up to five years of age as could ensure that no child of any house throughout the district remained unattended.
He issued these directions while presiding over a meeting held for reviewing the arrangements made for forth-coming three day round of anti-polio campaign commencing from June 21. EDOs health, education, revenue and literacy, Dr Umar Farooq, Syed Riaz Hussain, Muhammad Ali Baloch and Muhammad Asif Tarar and representative of different departments attended the meeting.
DCO directed the Auqaf department to make arrangements for announcing the schedule of the teams of health department from mosques so that the parents could be able to get the vaccine drops administered to their children.
