Two masked assailants riding on a motorbike shot at one Mirza Anwar-ur-Rehman in Tariqabad area and left him injured here, on Sunday. The victim was admitted to hospital in critical condition. Family sources said that two unidentified persons knocked the door in the morning and when Mirza Anwar-ur-Rehman came out to see visitors they opened indiscriminate fires at him and ran away leaving the victim in pool of blood.
Family members and neighbours gathered outside the home and brought the victim to hospital instantly for treatment.
