Federal minister Sheikh Rashid's application form for visit to Srinagar was submitted on Thursday to occupied Kashmir authorities. The designated authority for Muzaffarabad-Srinagar Bus Service, Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad Chaudhry Liaquat Hussain handed over the application form to his occupied Kashmir counterpart for the issuance of Line of Control Crossing Permit to the minister, desiring to visit Srinagar on June-30 on the invitation of JKLF chief Yasin Malik.
Sheikh Rashid's request form was submitted in a flag meeting held on Line of Control at Chakothi sector on the Friendship Bridge.
The Deputy Commissioner Muzaffarabad also gave an approved list of 17 passengers of Kashmir Bus Service to IOK authorities. The occupied Kashmir officials did not submit any approved list of passengers intending to visit Azad Kashmir. They will inform about the fate of federal minister's request for visit by June-27.
