WTL secured Wireless Local Loop (WLL) spectrum/license from Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) for all 14 telecom regions of Pakistan. The WLL project team, at WTL, consisting of highly skilled professionals, dedicated to achieve the project goal enabled us to commence wireless telephony service, which is being rollout from Lahore.
Lahore Telecom Region is just the beginning soon the services will be offered across all telecom regions covering the length and breadth of Pakistan. We are proud to have chosen international technology partners like Samsung that offers state-of-the-art equipment and technology solutions and is a world leader in the deployment of CDMA networks around the globe.
CDMA 2000 1X technology, like the one being employed by WTL, can be utilized to deliver a host of services including limited mobility, SMS, high speed Internet/data, MMS etc, in addition to standard value added services like call waiting, call forwarding and CLI.
