ISE equities shed more weight

Bears returned in the front seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities failed to show recovery signs amid decrease in index. ISE Network Index showed a decrease of 34.15 points as the price-based indicator moved from 11,605.58 to 11,571.43 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 30,88,100 shares as compared to previous volume of 31,63,800 shares.
Total 106 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (62) closed in negative territory, 44 showed positive signs whereas one company remained pegged to its overnight level.
The turnover of PTCL was 2,055,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,295,000 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 861,100 shares as compared to previous turnover of 635,600 shares. The volume of PSO was 111,900 shares as compared to previous turnover of 104,500 shares.
