Greater compatibility between individual performances with the overall organisational strategy is inevitable to increase organisational output and maximise its benefits. This was stated in the monthly forum organised by Human Resource Development Network (HRDN) on "Linking Individual Performance to Organisational Strategy".
Duncan Trotter from Save the Children UK elaborated all the basic components of an individual's lifeline in an organisation and also dissected the organisational lifeline towards achieving its objectives. After a thorough analysis of both lifelines, he emphasised the two lifelines should always be interconnected and it was upon both the management as well as the individuals working in that organisation to ensure connectivity of the two lifelines through better communication and a culture of mutual sharing.
