The Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information Salahuddin Haider informed he would submit proposal before the provincial cabinet to help poor journalists by providing jobs to their children and also fix quota for journalists in residential colonies.
Talking to journalists at MQM Zonal office Mirpurkhas on Saturday, he said Election Commission has announced schedule of local government elections and the government will make all possible effort to ensure free and fair elections. In that regard the government has already issued directives to police and Rangers to maintain law and order in the province.
He informed journalists Governor of Sindh was presiding over the meetings with relevant departments to maintain law and order in the province. Replying to a question, the Adviser said defeat was visible to some certain elements that why they were crying for rigging in elections and their allegations were baseless.
