Punjab Minister for Housing & Urban Development Syed Raza Ali Gilani has directed the development authorities in the province to develop a website to provide update information to the masses regarding housing schemes and societies in their respective areas.
These websites should be updated after every fifteen days, he said while presiding over a meeting of development authorities of the province here on Tuesday.
The meeting was also attended by Housing Secretary Akhlaq Ahmad Tarar, Punjab Housing and Town Planning Agency (PHTA) Director General Shahzad Jameel and Director Generals of all the developmental authorities.
The Minister directed all the developmental authorities to keep a vigil on advertisements being released by all the approved and unapproved housing schemes and counter them through advertisements. He said that stern action should be taken against illegal housing societies under the laws.
