Over Rs 144 million for schools renovation

District Gujranwala has received Rs 144.248 million funds to ensure provision of basic facilities and improve the conditions of school buildings. According to officials statistics, out of 595 schemes only 12 schemes were approved and eight were completed while work was going on rest of four schemes. As many as 52 school buildings have been provided basic facilities.
The furniture and fixture have been provided in high schools with cost of rupees 2.887 million. About 96 per cent primary schools have been provided furniture.
