Former federal minister and secretary general PPP Jehangir Badr has moved application before an accountability court, praying to the court to allow him to go abroad for his medical examination. The applicant contended that the court had already allowed a number of other accused facing references to go abroad for medical examination, therefore, he must be allowed to go abroad for his medical check up.
The court will proceed with the application on July 08. The applicant has been facing the charges of corruption and making illegal assets in excess of income.
He has also been facing the charges of misusing of his office as federal minister.
