An amount of Rs 30 million will be spent on establishing a Seerat Academy here for conducting research on various aspects of life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), including an auditorium to seat 1000 persons by the Punjab Religious Affairs and Auqaf department.
This was told by Punjab Auqaf Minister Syed Saeedul Hassan while talking to a group of students from a local seminary at his office, according to a handout issued on Tuesday.
He said the Academy would hold international-level seminars and would build a Quran library containing scripts in all international languages, to highlight and promote the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and to sensitise youth about the message of the Holy Quran.
