Call to following Islamic teachings

Speakers at different functions held on the second day of 'Mental Health Week' being observed to mark completion of 35 years of Fountain House, have called for following Islamic teachings to avoid psychiatric problems.
Professor Dr Haroon Rashid Chaudhry, Honorary Executive Director, Fountain House presented the welcome address at a function in which Rector of the Lahore University, Professor M. H. Qazi was the chief guest.
Qazi greatly appreciated the services of the Fountain House and assured his maximum co-operation from his institute. Professor Dr M.A. Soofi and Professor Dr Haroon Rashid Chaudhry presented tribute to Professor Dr Muhammad Rashid Chaudhry (Late), the founder of the Fountain House.
They focussed on the role of religion for maintaining mental health. Professor Haroon Rashid Chaudhry also announced to establish an Islamic psychiatric research centre in Fountain House.
Saba Sadiq MPA and Siddiq Akbar Station Commander Pak Navy participated as special guests. The chief guest also inaugurated the art gallery and distributed appreciation certificates among house members and staff of Fountain House.
