Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) backed candidates would contest the forthcoming local bodies election under the banner of 'Watan Dost' in Lahore. The MMA has formed a committee under the chairmanship of its Lahore President Hafiz Salman Butt.
The committee would meet on July 17, to finalise 150 candidates for local bodies polls.
MMA Lahore President Hafiz Salman Butt told newsmen here on Tuesday that the names of the alliance candidates would be announced on July 18. He said that six-member board has also been constituted which would take decision on matters pertaining to seat adjustments.
