Most of Indian films nowadays being produced and shown on Indian TV channels, cables and other sources, are based on vulgarity, nudity, crime, anti-Indo-Pakistan culture and above all anti-Muslim as well as anti-Pakistan designs.
Indian film industry has gone to the extent of making a few films like LOC, Maan Tujhe Salam, Border, Kargil and a few more, in which not only the name of Pakistan, its flag and Pakistani defence forces have been dishonoured but also the Muslim religion has been defamed by showing untrue, fictitious, baseless.
The realism, truth and actual ground history of Kashmir's freedom and sacrifices of freedom fighters are always shown in a twisted way. However, Pakistan has never produced anti-Indian films.
In all Indian movies; the criminals, smugglers, drug-traffickers, gangsters and all anti-social elements are named in a 'Muslim Identity of low-profile' while the good-characters dominating all bad characters are named in 'Hindu-identity of high-profile'.
This ill-intended characterisation of Muslims in general and Pakistan in particular by Indian film producers, story writers and directors after having the licence of release by Indian Censor Board (Government of India) is sending an open negative and hostile message to both Muslims and Pakistan, which is detrimental to the process of CBMs.
No doubt, Indian films are vastly seen in Muslim world, including Pakistan, and all Indian movies based on anti-Muslim strategy always convey an inimical message. Concerned quarters of Indian film industry must realise that such messages expose how you think about Muslims.
Indian President, Prime Minister, Information Ministry and Ambassador in Pakistan are requested to kindly take cognisance of the matter in letter and spirit and undertake corrective measures to put the Indian film industry on the right track to avoid making anti-Pakistan and anti-Muslim films.
