US arabica coffee futures rallied more than 3 percent to end at a two-week high Thursday, bolstered by a late spurt of speculative and fund buying amid strong technical signals, traders and analysts said.
The New York Board of Trade's most-active September arabica contract rose 3.65 cents, or 3.5 percent, to settle at $1.0855 a lb, after trading from $1.0525 to $1.0925. The top trade was the loftiest for the contract since July 1.
