Wheat futures at the Chicago Board of Trade were higher early on Friday with the market getting its marching orders from strong gains in corn and soy, traders said. Corn and soy rallied again on Friday because of stress on the US Midwest crops caused by dry weather, traders said.
At 10:20 am CDT (1520 GMT), CBOT wheat was unchanged to 3 cents per bushel higher. September was up 3 at $3.47-1/2 per bushel.
Wheat futures traders were giving notice to dry weather stress on crops in some of the European Union's top producing countries.
