The speedy completion of Hassanabdal, Mansehra dual carriageway would increase trade tourism and human resources activities in the area and would bring an easy access to the northern parts of the country. Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Amanullah Khan Jadoon expressed these views while presiding over a meeting to review the pace of progress on Hassan Abdal-Mansehra carriageway here on Friday.
The meeting reviewed the progress on 90-kilometer long Hassan Abdal-Mansehra dual carriageway and underlined the need to gear up the efforts for early completion of the project for the benefit of the people and the country.
Amanullah Jadoon asked the National Highway Authority to conduct survey for Abbottabad bypass plan to bring relief to the people presently suffering a lot owing to traffic conjunction in Abbottabad.
Both Deputy Speaker NA and the Petroleum Minister proposed the NHA to conduct survey for preparing plan for construction of 20-kilometer Berote-Bakote-Kohala Muzaffarabad road along with right bank of the river for connecting Hazara to Muzaffarabad with an easy access way.
National Assembly Deputy Speaker Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob and National Highway Authority (NHA) General Manager S.A. Latif also attended the meeting.
NHA General Manager briefed the meeting about the preliminary work done so far on these projects.
