Fatima Jinnah award winner, Dr Maryam Malik said that women should embark upon collective efforts for the development, betterment and prosperity of the country. She stated this while receiving a medal during a ceremony here on Tuesday. She is the only lady doctor in the country who has done her post graduation in the field of 'Medical Rehabilitation' for disabled from Royal College of Physicians, London.
She said, "if we are sincerely determine to achieve our goals, no hindrance can come in our way and stop us from doing efforts for bringing change." Currently, she is running her own rehabilitation centre for disabled where comprehensive rehabilitation services were being provided to thousands of special people, most of them women.
