An official spokesman has rejected a news report appearing in a section of the press regarding mercy petition filed by two soldiers sentenced in assassination attempt on President General Pervez Musharraf, said an ISPR's press release here on Thursday. He said that it is fabricated as one of the individuals mentioned in the news item has never stood a trial whereas trial of the second individual is still under progress.
