Bombardier Inc said on Friday it received a $223 million train order from Austrian Federal Railways. The Canadian plane and train maker said its partner in the consortium is Elin EBG Traction, and the overall order for 60 more Bombardier Talent electric multiple units is valued at about $293 million.
The train units should go into service from January 2007 to mid-2008 and are to be used on regional and commuter services across Austria.
