Concrete measures were being taken to supply gas to Rawat Industrial Zone (RIZ) as soon as possible, Provincial secretary of trade and investment Saeed Ahmed Alvi said on Tuesday.
The government of Punjab in collaboration with Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industries is taking various measures to boost cottage and small industries in the province, he told a private TV channel. He said the provincial government was trying to give impetuous to the industrial development. Efforts were also underway to resolve the problems of traders and industrialists, he added.
