Equities continued to show negative signs at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where bears stayed in the driving seat amid decrease in index. ISE Network index showed a decrease of 139.79 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,184.11 to 11,044.32 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 1,288,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 2,012,900 shares. Total 114 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (90) closed in negative territory, 24 showed positive signs whereas zero companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The turnover of PTCL was 811,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,199,200 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 334,800 shares as compared to previous turnover of 603,900 shares. The volume of Hub Power Company (Hubco) was 40,000 shares.
