ISE index down 95.42 points

Bulls failed to snatch the floor from the bears at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where selling pressure intensified in hot favourites amid decrease in index. The ISE Network index was down by 95.42 points as the composite index moved from 11,044.32 to 10,948.90 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 17,33,900 shares as compared to previous volume of 12,88,200 shares. Total 107 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (87) closed in negative territory, 20 showed positive signs whereas zero companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The turnover of PTCL was 11,92,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 811,000 shares The volume of OGDCL was 407,900 shares as compared to previous turnover of 334,800 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 43,000 shares.
