New underwater optical fiber cable would be installed till end of December 2005, which would provide parallel speedy source of data availability in the country.
Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation Limited Chairman Zafar Ahmed while talking to a private TV channel said that other countries were also sharing underwater optic fiber cable with Pakistan.
Regarding losses faced by the call centres due to optic fiber cable fault, which occurred recently, Chairman said Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation Limited (PTCL) would abide by the responsibility according to agreement.
