The Government had gone into seven-day official mourning on the sad demise of King Fahd, though the Saudis themselves had announced only a three-day mourning in the kingdom. However, I see no signs of gloom anywhere around, except the Hilali Parcham flying at half-mast on a few official buildings.
Leave aside the commercial TV channels and the FM radios in the country, even the PTV and Radio Pakistan are going full blast with all kinds of music, songs and other entertainments.
What is our concept of Official Mourning? Could someone please put me wise about it?
