Police arrested two accused, allegedly involved in Raknee bomb blast, after an encounter from Jampur, Rajanpur district, while five others managed to escape the scene on late Wednesday night taking advantage of darkness.
Those arrested include Allah Bakhsh Khitran and Yasin Sehrani. Police claimed to have recovered two klashinkovs, and a car from their possession. SDPO Jampur Jam Saif-ullah told newsmen that five accused Mir Hamdan Khitran, Sadiq-wado, Bilal Bar'ra, Qalandar Chang and Khan Meer managed to escape during the encounter.
He said the arrested accused had confessed their involvement in bomb blast to destroy electric tower in Raknee, Balochistan. Lal Muhammad, Umardin, Abdul Ghafoor and Gul Muhammad Khitran were also with them when they planted four bombs with four pillars of the electricity tower, the police officials said.
The accused have also confessed that they had received Rs 30,000 reward for the condemnable action, police said.
