The rupee showed mixed trend versus foreign currencies in forex market on Friday, dealers said. The rupee maintained a firm posture versus dollar in the open market and recovered five paisa for buying and selling at Rs 59.95 and Rs 60.00, respectively, they said.
It, however, lost 30 paisa in relation to euro at Rs 74.00 and Rs 74.25 for buying and selling, respectively, in rising demand for the single European currency, they said.

In the world markets, the dollar was up against yen on weaker-than-expected Japanese Gross Domestic Product (GDP), but the loss in yen was limited as investors observed the rising trend in the basic fundamentals, dealers said.
