The Institute of Continuing Education and Extension of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore arranged an exhibition of dairy, poultry and fish farm models made by the students. The students of DVM third year class made the models as part of their practical work in the subject of Livestock Education and Extension.
Speaking on this occasion, the vice-chancellor Professor Dr Manzoor Ahmad said that the university is establishing fish, goat, poultry and dairy farms of international standards at its new campus near Pattoki.
A model of dairy farm made by practical group B-2 students got first position, poultry farm by group C-2 got second and fish farm made by the group A-2 earned third position while special prize went to a zoo model by group A-2.
