Several variations were seen on the grain markets on Friday as most of the buyers were eager to purchase the commodities on falling prices, dealers said. On the gram sector, garda Punjab moved up Rs 25 to Rs 1900-1950. Garda Punjab dal followed suit and picked the same amount, they said.
Yellow piec canda dropped Rs 25 to Rs 1500-1540 in the absence of fresh demand from buyers, they added.
Yellow piec canda dal was down by Rs 25 to Rs 1675-1725. Beetle chana No 1 was higher by Rs 25 to Rs 1915-1965 amid modest trading.
On the cereals side, makai inferior gave up Rs 25 to Rs 825.
On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag dropped Rs 5 to Rs 395-410 on rising supplies.
Other sectors fluctuated with minor changes, as supplies side was strong to meet the demands by the buyers.
