DG Rangers was of the view that by the grace of Almighty Allah there is no very sensitive polling station and that "we have managed and accounted for." However, for deployment purposes there is a categorisation of polling stations, he added and explained that it is not necessary that such a deployment is owing to the polling station being sensitive. This may be owing to environment and because of the past record.

In the interior Sindh in phase 1, the category-A polling stations are 533 and category-B polling stations are 2,680. In phase 2, the category-A polling stations are 1,031 and category-B polling stations are 4,976.
