Pakistan on Thursday condemned the wave of bomb blasts that killed two people and injured more than 100 in Bangladesh as a "vicious act of terrorism." "The government of Pakistan condemns the series of blasts which occurred all across Bangladesh on August 17, causing loss of precious lives and injuries to scores of people," the foreign ministry said in a statement.
"This vicious act of terrorism is an attempt to create panic among the peace-loving populace of Bangladesh, and create law and order situation in the country," it said.
"The government of Pakistan hopes that the perpetrators of this heinous crime would be soon apprehended and brought to justice," the statement said.
