The Pakistan Customs seized 4300 pirated CDs/DVDs at Jinnah International Airport Karachi on Friday. According to a press released issued here the staff of the Collectorate of Customs (Preventive) posted at International Arrival Hall, Jinnah International Airport Karachi.
Received credible information that attempt would be made to smuggle into the country huge quantity of pirated CDs/DVDs by some unscrupulous persons through different flights.
The Customs staff kept high alert and seized CDs/DVDs from Sultan Ahmed, Shahzada Khalid Dar and Malik Akhtar Ali, who had arrived on different flights from different countries, and recovered 550, 1750 and 2000 CDs/DVDs, respectively, from them.Further investigation was in progress, the press release said.-PR
