According to an information received here on Saturday, the government of Punjab through an ordinance passed for amendment in BoP Act 1989 has increased the authorised capital of Bank of Punjab from Rs 2 billion to Rs 10 billion.
Through another amendment in BoP Act 1989, the designation of managing director has been changed to that of president of the bank, information says.
