Sindh Government has declared August 25 (Thursday) as public holiday in 12 districts of Sindh on the occasion of second phase of Local Government Elections.
The holiday will be for all offices, autonomous, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils under the administrative control of Sindh Government, to facilitate voters and enable polling staff appointed to perform their duties at polling stations.
The holiday will be in the districts of Hyderabad, Tando Mohammad Khan, Dadu, Matiari, Jamshoro, Badin, Sukkur, Khairpur, Nawabshah, Larkana, Kambar-Shahdadkot and Shikarpur.
