Corn futures at the Chicago Board of Trade were weak early on Thursday and a new contract low was set in spot September amid spillover pressure from a sharp fall in soy, traders said.
At 10:34 am CDT (1534 GMT), CBOT corn was unchanged to 1 cent per bushel lower. September was down 1 at $2.07-3/4 per bushel, a new contract low. December was down 3/4 at $2.21-1/2.
Man Financial sold 300 December and locals were noted sellers, pit sources said.
