The Wapda Chairman, Tariq Hamid, inaugurated the Monsoon Tree Plantation campaign 2005 by planting a sapling in main lawn of the Wapda House on Monday. Member Finance Imtiaz Anjum, Member Power Muhammad Anwer Khalid, Member Water Muhammad Mushtaq Chaudhry, General Manager (Administration) Brigadier Najam-us-Saqib and other Wapda high-ups were also present on the occasion.
According to the Wapda thousands of saplings would be planted in all Wapda formations and project areas throughout the country in connection with the campaign.
