India's second-largest software services exporter, Infosys Technologies Ltd, said on Thursday it had got an IT outsourcing order worth $140 million over five years from Dutch bank ABN Amro.
"That's the committed order, but it has the potential to go up to $250 million in the next 5 years," V. Balakrishnan, senior vice president of finance at Infosys, told Reuters over phone. Infosys is one of five companies that would share ABN's outsourcing contract totally worth $2.2 billion.
Other companies which had won parts of the order included Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, IBM, Accenture and Patni Computer Systems.
