Two people, including a woman were killed while eight others injured when a wagon they were travelling in overturned on Sahiwal-Lahore Road near Qadarabad on Sunday.
According to police, a wagon numbering OKA-2060 was carrying a family to Lahore. When reached the venue it turned turtle due to overspending. As a result Shoaib (22) and a woman Perveen (30) died on the spot.
While Shamim Gul, Rizwan, Arsalan, Aziza Riaz, Khadeja Hussain, her two minor sons Zain, Abdullah and Aalaya Zaib sustained injuries. They were rushed to the DHQ Hospital Sahiwal.
