Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Secretary Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad on Monday said all arrangements have been finalised to conduct third phase of Local Governments (LGs) Elections. Speaking in PTV programme, he said District Returning Officers (DROs) and Returning Officers (ROs) would hopefully be appointed on Monday.
He said all required material to hold third phase of local government elections has been dispatched to all districts.
Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad said nomination papers for Nazim and Naib Nazim would be received on September 12.
He directed all elected members to receive their notification copy from their respective district offices.
He said elected members having notification copy would be allowed to cast their vote in the third phase of LG elections.
Code of conduct issued by the ECP for holding of first and second phase will also be applicable for third phase of Local governments' elections, he added.
