After the entry of streaming media giant into Pakistan, another such video on demand company is eyeing to launch itself into the country.
The Kuala Lumpur based iFlix, is all set to begin providing its services to Pakistani users. The company announced their arrival in Pakistan on a newly created Facebook page for this region.
“Get ready, Pakistan! It'll be time to PLAY soon!” reads the statement.
iFlix as compared to Netflix is a smaller entity, but boasts a good library of movies and shows consisting of both Western and Eastern content. Hower, as per TechJuice, it remains to be seen whether the full selection of shows and films will be available in Pakistan or the content will remain limited thanks to license agreements.
The US based Netflix entered Pakistan earlier this year, after the US based streaming giant moved to enlarge its Internet TV network to more than 190 countries around the globe. However, iFlix has given no official word yet, but is expected to launch anytime.
