Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Tuesday released 253,410 cusecs water from various rim stations. According to Irsa sources, an overall water inflow from various reservoirs recorded on Tuesday was at 259,159 cusecs.
Water level at Tarbela Dam was recorded at 1547 feet. The present water level at the dam is 178 feet higher than the dead level of 1369 feet.
Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 152,300 cusecs, while outflow was at 145,000 cusecs.
The water level at Mangla Dam was recorded at 1201.75 feet, which is 161 feet higher than the dead level of 1040 feet. Water inflow at the dam was recorded at 17,921 cusecs, while outflow was at 19,472 cusecs.
The contribution of Kabul and Chenab was recorded at 28,700 cusecs and 60,238 cusecs, respectively. Water level at Chashma recorded on Tuesday was at 645.70 feet against the dead level of 637 feet. Water inflow at the dam was at 205,316 cusecs while the outflow was at 145,000 cusecs.
Water level at Guddu was 125,350 cusecs against the dead level of 1100,000 cusecs.
