In collaboration the Pakistan Telecom Manufacturing Association (PTMA), Engineering Development Board (EDB) of Pakistan was organising a two-day exhibition 'Telecom Engineering 2005' on September 26 in Islamabad.
According to a spokesman of EDB, the exhibition would be a unique opportunity for businessmen to discover the indigenous potential of the telecom equipment manufacturers and linkage providers as well as further help them and foreign investors fathom the promise that this industry holds for them in Pakistan.
The event was basically aimed to bring the local and foreign traders on a common platform with the equipment manufacturers in order to facilitate the possibility of prospective collaboration and expansion of trade of the local equipment to potential markets like South America, Africa and Central Asia.
