The Revenue department has declared ten villages of Liaquatpur tehsil as calamity hit after the flood hit the areas. According to a notification here on Sunday, the calamity hit villages are, Beet Aaheer, Beet Imam Bakhsh Machi, Beet Blooch, Chak Noor Wala, Beet Dewan, Beet Hararah, Beet Allah Wasaia, Muza Chohan, Fakharabad, Deen Muhammad Dahir and Mad Doolat Shah.
The provincial government has waived off agriculture tax water rate in calamity hit areas, it added. Meanwhile, the newly-elect Nazmeen, Sardar Ghulam Asghar Khan and Mahmood Ali Khan have thanked the Chief Minister Punjab, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi for providing relief to the flood hit areas.
