Bulls returned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where fresh buying spree in hot favourites moved the entire ready-board in upward direction amid increase in index.
ISE Network index showed an increase of 15.73 points as the rate-based indicator moved from 11,385.71 to 11,401.44 points. The overall turnover amounted to 1,078,300 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,209,900 shares.
Total 113 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (69) closed in positive territory, 44 showed negative signs.
The overall volume of PTCL was 778,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 619,200 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 207,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 471,100 shares. The volume of Kot Uddu Power Company was 39,400 shares.
