Bulls handed over the floor to the bears at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where equities witnessed broad-based erosion amid increase in index. ISE network index showed a decrease of 53.39 points as the price-based indicator moved from 11,538.41 to 11,485.02 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 1,528,400 shares as compared to previous volume of 1,430,900 shares.
Total 125 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (65) closed in minus territory, 60 showed plus signs while zero companies remained pegged to their overnight levels.
The overall volume of PTCL was 982,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 953,800 shares. The volume of OGDCL was 427,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 339,500 shares. The turnover of Kot Addu Power was 27,500 shares.
