PBC polls postponed

The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) on Saturday postponed its scheduled elections.
A press release of the PBC issued here said in view of promulgation of the Legal Practitioners and Bar Councils (Amendment) Act- 2005, enhancing thereby the number of seats of the PBC members for NWFP from two to four and changing the electoral college for purpose of the PBC elections notification dated August 30 regarding programme of the PBC election has been rescinded. New election programme under the new law will be notified later, says the press release.
