Cocoa arrivals at Ivory Coast's port of San Pedro reached 522,899 tonnes between October 1 and September 3 this year, according to data from the Coffee and Cocoa Bourse (BCC) obtained by Reuters on Monday.
That compared with 772,010 tonnes delivered to the port during the same period of the 2003/04 season, the data showed.
The figures showed 3,880 tonnes arrived at San Pedro port from August 28 and September 3, down from 5,106 in the same period of the 2003/04 season. Data for the port of Abidjan - currently shipping about 57 percent of Ivory Coast's cocoa exports compared with San Pedro's 43 percent - were not immediately available.
