The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman on behalf of the chamber presented a cheque of Rs 10 million to the Chairman Board of Trustees Shalamar Hospital, Chaudhry Ahmad Saeed for installation of CT Scan machine in the hospital.
The cheque giving ceremony was attended by the LCCI President Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman, SVP Sohail Lashari, Vice-President Sheikh Muhammad Arshad, Mian Ashraf and Iftikhar Ali Malik.
Speaking on this occasion, Misbah said that the LCCI would continue to serve the hospital in the same manner.
He said that the amount being given to the Shalamar Hospital was collected through First Achievement Awards.
He said that the installation of CT Scan machine was a dire need of the people living in that part of the city and the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry decided to donate the machine to the hospital to cater to the needs of the people who cannot afford private treatment.
Misbah also paid rich tributes to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Shalamar Hospital Chaudhry Ahmad Saeed for the cause of ailing humanity.
Chaudhry Ahmad Saeed and former presidents Mian Mohammad Ashraf and Iftikhar Ali Malik also addressed the function.
