In a bid to make the youth productive, the country's corporate sector will be encouraged to invest in population welfare programmes.
The sector will especially, help provide quality health, educational facilities to different segments of society particularly, the productive age groups, Population Welfare Secretary Shahzado Sheikh said on Wednesday in a PTV programme.
In Pakistan, the productive age group is 53 per cent of entire population, and the corporate sector can invest and provide various employment opportunities to the youth aimed at making them self sufficient, he added.
