National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) in collaboration with Center for Civic Education Pakistan (CCEP) will organise concluding ceremony of Political Party Development Programme here at a local hotel on September 24.
Leaders of eight political parties from Balochistan, including Pakistan Muslim League, Jamait Ulema-e-Islam (F), Pakistan Peoples Party, Pakistan Muslim League (N), National Party, Jamhuri Watan Party, Balochistan National Party and Pashtunkhawa Milli Awami Party will participate in the programme.
NDI and CCEP have arranged a series of training programmes for political leaders and activists as part of its USAID funded political party development programme in different cities of the country. Over 173 political leaders and activists, both women and men belonging to mainstream political parties, have been trained in these programmes.
The programme is aimed at enhancing the leadership skills of the participants and to help them understand the nature and principle of politics. These programmes have brought improvement in the political activities and laid the foundation of a new political tradition in the country.
